interesting but sad dynamic between men and women in the west. there is temptation and benefit for women to marry young (the older they get the less likely to marry) men do not want to marry young, want freedom, women benefit more from marriage and less from freedom, although they can develop a career development, ambition in women threatening to men, also hindering marriage-ability. women at young age are fed "fairytale propoganda" from disney's cinderella stories to middle-age romance comedies. men also desire love too. but they have more freedom and more options: travel, career development. women have these options too but because many women from a young age learn helplessness from father or mother's (over)protection, there is more dependence upon friends, family or lover(s).

this could all be BS, but maybe there is some truth.
